It’s hump day and to get my coworkers and me through this week, I made a batch of these yummy treats last night. With only 5 ingredients and a 10 min prep time, they were quick and easy (something we all need on a Tuesday night).
Here’s what you need:
1 8oz block cream cheese (room temp)
⅛ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
¼ cup mini chocolate chips (I used semi-sweet)
1 can Pillsbury Rounds
Just mix together the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until it’s smooth and creamy.
Then unroll the Crescent Round dough, but don’t pull it apart. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top. Make sure you leave about ¼” at the edge of one side.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Don’t forget to steal a few to nibble on 😉
Next, roll it all up, rolling toward the edge without the cream cheese. Press and pinch the ¼” section at the end to close the roll.
Then slice along the perforations and set each on a cookie sheet. If your dough seems too warm or hard to cut, you can put it in the fridge for 10 minutes to harden it up.
Bake at 350* for ~10 min or until edges are golden brown.
I made these the night before and they were still really yummy the next morning. I’m not a coffee drinker, but my coworkers said they were heavenly with their morning coffee 🙂
